The Lagrein grape is native to South Tyrol and primarily grown there. One thing that makes Lagrein special is that both red and rosé wines are produced from it. The history of growing Lagrein in South Tyrol dates back to the fourteenth century. Today it is one of South Tyrol’s top reds. This Lagrein has a deep dark-red color, powerful body and lovely spices. In short, a red wine with class, which is unique in character and found only in South Tyrol.
